

Mo Raja
Junior Varsity Coach
Mo Raja is a dedicated baseball coach and former professional player with extensive experience in both coaching and playing the game. Born and raised in Pakistan, Mo moved to the United States in 2006, where he quickly adapted and pursued his passion for sports. A 2012 graduate of Niles North High School, Mo was a two-sport athlete, excelling in both baseball and football. His athletic background laid the foundation for a successful coaching career, where he has spent the past four years coaching at Glenbrook South High School.
Mo began his coaching journey as the Head Freshman Coach, where he developed a reputation for mentoring young athletes and creating a strong foundation for their future success. This year, he transitions to a Varsity Assistant role, bringing his knowledge, leadership, and passion for the game to the high school’s top-tier athletes.
In addition to his coaching career, Mo's playing career has taken him to the highest levels of the sport. He represented Team Pakistan in the World Baseball Classic and competed in the Asian Baseball Championships, showcasing his skills on the international stage. His experience playing professional baseball provides a unique perspective for his coaching, allowing him to relate to his players and instill in them the skills and mindset needed to succeed at all levels of the game.
Mo earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Law with a minor in Psychology from Roosevelt University, bringing a well-rounded approach to both his coaching style and his ability to connect with players. Since 2022, Mo has also worked as an Instructional Assistant in the English Department at Glenbrook South High School, where he further builds relationships with students and contributes to the academic development of the school community.
With a passion for developing athletes both on and off the field, Mo is committed to helping Glenbrook South’s baseball program continue to grow and succeed.
